Connect Confluence or Notion
Give AI Copilot access to your team's internal pages in Confluence or Notion. Covers connecting, choosing content, sync timing and what is indexed.
Connect Confluence or Notion to let Pluno use the internal knowledge your team keeps there: runbooks, product notes and troubleshooting guides.
You need the Admin role to connect either tool. Nothing is selected by default, so Pluno reads only the content you choose.
Connect Confluence#
- Open Knowledge, then Confluence.
- Select Add Confluence Site.
- Sign in to Atlassian and approve the request. Pluno asks for read-only access to spaces, pages and attachments.
The connection covers the Confluence sites that the person who approved it can access, and it is shared by every knowledge hub in your workspace.
Choose Confluence content#
- On the Confluence page, find Configure Confluence Content.
- Open a site, then a space, and tick the pages and folders you want.
- Select Save.
Good to know:
- Ticking a page also ticks the pages loaded beneath it.
- Pages added later under a ticked page are not included automatically. Come back, tick them and save again.
- Pluno reads page text. Attachments, comments, whiteboards, databases and smart links are not read.
- Personal spaces are not listed.
Connect Notion#
- Open Knowledge, then Notion.
- Select Connect Notion Workspace.
- In Notion's own screen, choose the pages Pluno may see and approve.
You can connect more than one Notion workspace. Manage Workspaces reopens Notion's screen so you can share more pages.
Choose Notion content#
- On the Notion page, find Configure Notion Content.
- Tick the pages and databases you want.
- Select Save.
Good to know:
- A ticked page includes all its sub-pages, including ones added later.
- Databases are ticked one at a time. A ticked database includes all its entries.
- Pluno reads page text, properties and tables. Comments, files and embeds are not read.
| Notion limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Pages shown for selection | Up to 10,000 per workspace |
| Sub-pages crawled | Up to 5,000 per workspace |
| Pages processed in total | Up to 20,000 |
When your content reaches Pluno#
Pluno syncs Confluence and Notion once a day. Saving your selection does not start a sync on its own.
To sync now, select Train Pluno at the top of the page. A large Notion workspace can take a few hours.
Pages you delete or stop sharing drop out at the next sync.
Stop using content#
To stop Pluno from using a page:
- Untick it under Configure Confluence Content or Configure Notion Content.
- Select Save.
- Select Train Pluno, or wait for the next daily sync.
Choose content per knowledge hub#
The connection is shared, but the selection is not. Each knowledge hub has its own selection, so you can give each brand or product its own set of pages.
